BTLGH stands for Bootleg House. BTLGH has been born out of a passion for design and discovery. We believe that curiosity is what drives the world forward. To keep doing what we do best. BTLGH is a fashion brand brought to life by four friends with different ideas but the same peripheral vision. The vision was turning everyday essential streetwear into a hype wear essential ensuring quality and creativity. We have a mission to push the boundaries of street culture in our country to create an independent, inclusive, credible, and unbiased platform for creating, curating, and propagating thoughts around street culture and its offshoots.
.
Bootleg is mostly perceived as being stolen or copied, attached to a negative connotation. However, we call it “artistic appropriation”. The idea was to make those bootleg designs on oversized tees. We soaked up creative knowledge from our favourite designers as we went along. We fell in love with the process of getting inspired. Our first collection, “Project Bootleg”, is inspired by the designs of Warren Lotas featuring chart-topper artists. It flirts with vintage while marrying contemporary fashion.
.
We are a collective of creative thinkers, makers, and doers. We are a team of passionate individuals who are constantly striving to create something new and innovative. We are always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of what is possible. We believe in the power of collaboration and the importance of working together to create something amazing. We are a team of problem-solvers who are always looking for new challenges to overcome. BTLGH is inspired by individuals, surroundings, and culture. We solely believe in designing pieces that we would wear. However, why stop at clothes?

“Making a successful luxury brand in nine years is genius. It’s a feat that I admire and hope to continue building upon with a rich legacy. He revolutionised streetwear and luxury that crosses generations and decades. He showed the world that the underrepresented, the underdogs and Black people, in particular, have brilliant minds and can push and compete equally in the establishment. He inspired hope and brought about change.” - Ibrahim Kamara, Art&Image Director Off-White™
